On the last day of school this year, our class learned about stereotypes and reviewed some current events. Also, we watched the funny, holiday movie Home Alone with Ms Lockie's class and then had a pizza party. The Grade 4's surprised me with a beautiful card and plenty of encouragement. What a great way to end the year!

Mele Kalikimaka
For the Christmas Assembly, our class performed Bing Crosby's Mele Kalikimaka with Ms Lockie's class. We had a great time bringing cheer and Hawaii to our school. I think we did a fabulous job!! Here's a recording of Bing's song: Mele Kalikimaka

On Monday, December 1st our class will be going ice skating at Newton Arena. Drivers, please arrive by 12:40 PM so we can be at the arena by 1 PM. Please meet in our classroom. Also, those students with booster seats please remember to bring them to school on Monday. We will be going with our Grade 1 buddies who will need plenty of help putting on and lacing up their skates. We will likely leave the arena by 2:30 and arrive back at the school by 2:40 PM. Thank you, drivers for making this field trip happen! :)
Students, please dress for cold weather. This includes: a hat or tuque, scarf, gloves or mittens, jacket, and warm socks. Looking forward to skating with you and having a great time!!
